Badgers B Vs Buxton

Badgers B entered the 1st game of 2018/19 season with a fairly unchanged side. New addition Charlie Swinson made his debut but for Buxton as they were short of players. He was joined by Nerea Ward Banner and they both performed well.
From the start Leek had the upper hand but despite relentless pressure and possession could not find a way past the Buxton 'keeper. As the half progressed Leek pushed more bodies forward looking for the goal, from this, Buxton took advantage from sloppy play to break and score twice.
After a animated team talk the 2nd half was even more one sided with Leek peppering the Buxton D with crosses and shots to no avail, the Buxton seniors holding steady in defence backed up by a able keeper.

The game was a very good performance from all the Leek players, some times you're just not going to win!
